On a more serious note, Ronit Eisenbach’s first year studio has been said by many, to be the hardest first year that the School of Architecture at the University of Detroit Mercy has. Some beg to differ, but being a Survivor, I can vouch that it was no "walk in the park." Usually a good portion of her studio drops after the first term. But this year was different. We started with 15. We ended with 15. It is said to be the first year that has not lost anyone. Therefore, we are the Ronit Survivors.

Despite all the work that we had to do, we also made time for fun. The all-nighters were when you really got to know the fellow studiomates. Sometimes we could really get on each others nerves. The idea for the logo at the top of the page came in early hours of the morning. The man has survived the night with his T-square and triangle in hand—arms raised in victory.

We even made a song about our studio. It’s called Ronit Survivors. It’s inspiration is "The Black Survivors" by Bob Marley.

Then there was the WALL OF SHAME It is kind of dangerous when someone has a camera in studio because you don’t know what is going to happen. This is a warning-some of these pictures, one may find offensive.

So, "A.A.", "Break Time", "Chicago", "Crotch Grab", "Dude!", "Golden Girl", "Gridhead", "Latin Lover", "Monster", "P.W.", "Rock", "Russian", "Skyballs", and" ‘Tucki", I wish you the best this summer and enjoy it while it lasts. Next year is going to be a new year. Hopefully you have some good memories from this year.
Take care and keep in touch,
"Thuglife MC"
