Emotion or Facts?
Emotions are temporary, but facts last forever. The feeling is there for a while but the truth is enduring through
everything. Jesus said:
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." (John 14:6,7 NIV)Every day we get up and face the world. Some days we feel great, and are on top of the world. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Everything is going our way. No one can bring us down. But other days we are down in the dumps. The clouds have come and things are falling apart in front of us. Those are the emotions running our life. But the truth is that God is there always. He says so:
"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 NIV)He is there through the good times and the bad. Whatever we feel like in the morning when we wake up, God is there. Whether we have a good or bad day, God is there. And because He is there, we need to serve Him every day.
